Elevate: Building the Black Community from the Boardroom
Saturday, March 25th, 2017 | International House | New York City
Thank you to everyone who attended the 35th Annual BBSA Conference, Elevate: Building the Black Community from the Boardroom. It would not have been the same without you there, so we want to say, truly, thank you. We at BBSA enjoyed reconnecting with our alumni, meeting and welcoming all the new members of our family, and celebrating all together as a community.
So what are we taking away from the day?
- Pride. The black business community is killing it. There was so much talent and passion in those rooms, both on and off the stage. We have a lot to share with the world.
- Service. Given our positions, it's our responsibility to give back to and support the "tribe." As Tracey Travis reminded us, women and minorities still face many hurdles in the business world, and it's up to us to keep improving those odds.

We'll see you next year for the 36th Annual BBSA Conference. Until then, please keep in touch with us on social media and visit our website. We'll be posting photographs soon, but please continue to share yours with hashtag #cbselevate!
